Our most asked question - "What do I do about a bra?" and the answer is...

Simple - go without! Going without a bra will be the most comfortable option, most of our dresses have cups build into them or are fully boned so you are protected and once your dress is altered to fit you they are not going anywhere. However, we know this can be a big 'no way' for some brides and that's ok, there is so much you can get to support the girls.

We recommend doing some shopping around for the best bra to suit your dress, buy a few different options and take them along to your seamstress and test out which one would be the most suitable for you and your dress. And remember, always nude, never white!!

Have you said Yes To The Dress Yet...?

Saying yes to your dream dress is an exciting moment but can also feel overwhelming and uneasy. Not every #bride has that 'Say Yes to the Dress' moment where everyones crying with happiness - and thats OK!

Sometimes you just know that the dress you are wearing means something too you or makes you feel a certain way.At Vicki's we say if there is a dress you keep coming back to whether that is in your head or a photo on your phone - she is probably YOUR dress!

It's important to make your YES decision based on how you feel and not to please your #bridalparty. Everyone will have opinions and sometimes they will not all match but when you feel amazing you radiate that feeling and that is what everyone will see on your wedding day.

Remember it is never to early to say yes to your #dress - when it feels right just do it!

If you are yet to have that YES moment, book an appointment with us and that may just happen! Book Now

You're about to embark on the search of your dream dress and you may be wondering 'where do I start!' , here are a few tips to help you along the way.

(Paris by Kelsey Rose)

Hands up if you are are bride-to-be looking to start the search for your #weddingdress?! You may be wondering 'where do I start' but do not worry we are here to help!

1. Set a Budget

Start off by giving yourself a budget that you feel comfortable spending. This allows #bridal stylists to lead you in the right direction when looking for your dress. But remember dresses shouldn't be chosen based on price but they should be chosen based on feeling.

2. Do your Research

Research #bridalboutiques that stock the styles you are looking for and book in with them. Don't feel like you have to go to 101 shops to find your dress. Sometimes one is just enough.

3. Choose an Entourage

Pick wisely who you want to be there when choosing your #dress. Who is going to give their honest opinion but still embrace this experience with you.

4. Give Yourself Time

Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to search for your dress. Our dresses can take up to 16 weeks to arrive once ordered but all designers are different. You then want to allow yourself alteration time, #seamstresses want you on their books at least 10 weeks before your wedding. We recommend starting your search at least a year before your big day. Remember it is never too early to buy your dress.

5. Once Your Start, Don't Stop

Lastly, once you have started your dress search and you are in that mindset, don't stop. Keep going until you find 'the one'. Sometimes stopping and starting can lead to running out of time and the last thing you want is unnecessary stress. We will help you wherever we can and most importantly we want you to enjoy this experience.

And remember, searching for your dress should be fun and exciting. Enjoy the experience and if you start to become overwhelmed and stressed, remember to take a step back and think about what it is you truly want - because sometimes it is right in front of you.
