What made you decide to start Artisan Bride?

Artisan Bride is the sister brand to successful alterations business, The Wedding

Dress Surgeon. Founded by cousins Nicola and Tracy, Artisan Bride was born from

endless requests to craft new sleeves, bustles, bespoke beading, hoops and support

garments, shrugs and stoles and of course, their now famous made-to-order veils.

We are always striving to delight and support our brides at every stage of their

journey. In response to their evolving needs, we now offer an incredible collection of

accessories—both ready-to-wear and bespoke—carefully curated to complement a

wide range of bridal styles. Whether a bride is seeking a delicate hairpiece, a

dramatic veil, or a custom-made accessory that

reflects her unique vision, she’ll find

something truly special within our collection.

In addition to our renowned alteration services, we are proud to now offer

personalised styling consultations, designed to help each bride bring her complete

look together with confidence and ease. From fittings to finishing touches, Artisan

Bride is here to ensure every bride feels beautifully supported—every step of the

way.

What’s been your favourite accessory to create so far?

One of our favourite bespoke creations to date is a stunning floral veil we designed

for a styled shoot. Adorned with vibrant, multicoloured flowers, this piece broke

away from tradition and brought a refreshing twist to the classic ivory veil. What

made this project even more special was creating a matching flower girl dress to

complement the look. The final pieces exceeded our expectations and captured

everything we envisioned. It was a joy to bring something so unique and full of

personality to life.

At Artisan Bride, we offer a thoughtfully curated collection of ready-to-wear

accessories, to complement a wide range of bridal styles. For those looking for

something truly unique, we also create beautifully handmade bespoke accessories,

crafted by us with care and attention to detail. Our famous DIY kits are a wonderful

option for creative brides who want to make their own wedding accessories or

keepsakes—adding a personal and meaningful touch to the day. We also welcome

you into our studio for a dedicated styling appointment, where you can try on a wide

range of accessories alongside your dress, from veils to tiaras and everything in

between, in a relaxed and supportive setting.

For an even more personal finish, we offer an embroidery service where we can

customise your bridal accessories with initials, special dates, messages, song lyrics,

or anything else close to your heart. Whatever your vision, we’re here to help you

bring it to life in the most memorable way. And after the big day, we’re here to help

you preserve those memories with our professional box and launder

service—designed to clean and protect your wedding dress so it stays in perfect

condition for years to come.
