This month we are shining our Vicki's Spotlight on our gorgeous Vicki's Bride, Sian, who go married this spring. So we have invited her to share her bridal journey with us. As always, let's start right at the beginning...

How did your partner propose?
Ben proposed at my favourite restaurant in June 2023, the Hand and Flowers in Marlow, where we also spent my 30th birthday celebrations. I had absolutely no idea he was going to do it, and after our meal we called our family to tell them, who were also very shocked!
Love that! Can't beat a surprise proposal. On to the big day, tell us when and where did you get married?
We got married on 16th May 2025, at Cooling Castle Barn, Kent.
Beautiful venue, What colour/ theme did you go for?
Our colours were sage green, with a hint of blush pink...my nieces wore pink dresses that they picked themselves we didn't have a theme really, we just wanted it to be as chilled as possible on the day, which we definitely achieved!
And they did look super cute!! One bit of advice for couples planning a wedding?
Don't stress about the little things! They may feel like big things whilst you are planning the day, but ultimately, the main thing is being with your partner and being surrounded by your family and friends. Enjoy it- it goes very quick!!
Everyone says it but it is so true!! Our favourite bit... Shopping for your dress... Tell us about it?!
I had been to one other shop before visiting Vicki's Bridal, and didn't particularly enjoy the experience. However, from the moment we entered Vicki's we were made to feel so welcome and at ease. I had already nosed on the website at dresses and had fallen in love with the Kelsey Rose ones... Hannah and Megan not only pulled dresses out that I had already mentioned, but also encouraged me to try on things that perhaps I wouldn't have tried on myself. I did go home with a Kelsey Rose dress...but not the one I originally thought I would pick! Hannah and Megan were super helpful throughout the whole process, and nothing was too much trouble! Shout out to the seamstress Tracy too.
We are so glad you enjoyed your bridal journey with us, we loved being part of it. Now, tell us a highlight from your Big Day.
I did a first look with my dad, as is tradition, but I also did a first look with my Grandad. His face when he saw me was a picture, and it made my day seeing how happy he was!
Omg that so sweet!! Your favourite photo from your big day - professional or moment captured by a guest.
I'm not sure if I can pick a favourite-they are all incredible for so many different reasons! I have attached a couple of top contenders, though!
