Vicki's 4th Birthday!!

Opening Day Monday 12th April 2021

We can't believe where this time has gone! How is our little Vicki's Bridal Boutique, been open for 4 years already and what journey we have been on since we opened our door at 1 East Cross, Tenterden on Monday 12th April 2021. We had no appointments to open for it was just us, Mum and Skye sitting in a boutique that we had worked tirelessly through lockdown to create with our rails of British Bridal Designer gowns. The sun was shining and our nervous anticipation for what was to come was high. It was suddenly all very real.

Those first couples of months feel a million year ago now, and we couldn't of imagined we would be where we are now 4 years on. But we still remember our very first bride Eve, our first Kelsey Rose Bride. She looked beautiful, and we were so excited, Mum, Dad and our brother Ellis came down for lunch to celebrate.

At the core of Vicki's Bridal Boutique has always been family, and as we have grown it still is, and now we have a family of gorgeous brides to share our journey with. We feel so privileged to work with an amazing collective of British Designers, Ellis Bridals, Kelsey Rose, Freda Bennet, Kate Fernley, to name a few, that share these same values.

Opening Day in our New Happy Place, Saturday 10th August 2024

Fast-forward to 2024, And this year has definitely been our proudest yet, with so many pinch us moments. As we entered, our 4th year of trading, we knew that Vicki's Bridal Boutique was outgrowing our East Cross boutique. So roll forward to the summer of 2024 for our biggest pinch us moment, opening our doors on 10th August to our new home at The Cellars, The High-street, Tenterden. This time we hit the ground running with a run of appointments, Anna being the first to sign our board of Vicki's Bride. Shortly followed by our very own Megan, who said 'Yes to the Dress' in our new home. You can read more about how the move went in our blog; Welcome to Our New Home.

As we settled in to our new happy place, we have had the pleasure of welcoming past, current and new brides in. And we are so pleased that all have loved it as much as we do. With an amazing 85 Vicki's brides saying 'Yes to the dress' in 2024, it was wonderful throughout wedding season to see so many gorgeous Vicki's bride say 'I Do'.

This year we also introduced another amazing British Bridal Designer, who is also making in the UK, to our collection, Kate Fearnley. Alongside our new collection from Ellis Bridals and Kelsey Rose, we held our first Vicki's event in our new Happy Place, introducing Kate Fearnley to the Kent Brides. Autumn also saw the start of the wedding award season, where we were honoured to be finalist in both The Wedding Industry Awards and The Kent Wedding Awards. As well as receiving the Hitched Recommend Supplier award, thanks to our lovely Vicki's Brides. 💕

2025 arrives with another pinch us moment, as the bridal industry bible, Bridal Buyer, releases their new issue with a 4-page interview with us! Talking all about our little bridal boutique nestled in the Kent countryside and our passion for all things British Bridal. This is something that has been on our Vicki's wish list for since we open our doors.

As we turn 4 we honestly can't believe how far we have come and excited for what is yet to come. But we are most grateful for are the beautiful Vicki's brides that we have welcomed in to the family. So we have to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful Vicki's Brides because we would not be where we are without you.
