So you have stumbled across our little bridal boutique in Tenterden, Kent on Google or Socials and now you want to know what you can expect from a bridal journey with us at Vicki's Bridal Boutique...
Booking With us.
You can choose from a variety of appointments which we have been carefully crafted to meet brides needs; you can find out more about in our 'What Vicki's Bridal Appointment to pick' blog. Once you have chosen the appointment that best suits you, you will receive your email confirmation.
The weeks leading up to your appointment we want to know as much about you and your wedding as you're willing to share. You will receive an enquiry form allowing you to do so. It important to us that you can feel as comfortable as possible when you first walk through our door.
Welcome to Vicki's.
Believe us when we say we are super excited to meet you and your special crew. Your name is on the mirror and we have taken the time to read your enquiry form.
We say to each bride that walks through our door 'this is your space for the next hour and half'. You have exclusive use of the boutique at Vicki's and full our attention.
Depending on the appointment type you have gone for depends on how it's runs but generally speaking we start with YOU picking 5 or so dresses from our collection of British Bridal Designers. 5 Reasons to Buy British Bridal
During Your Appointments.
Throughout the appointment we are lead by you, but don't worry you aren't alone. Once we know what you are liking we will offer up some suggestions. We believe that there is no point us sharing our opinions until we know what you are liking.
We will move quite quickly though the initials picks, hopefully adding dresses to revisit to our golden rail. This way we don't waste time on No's and allows us more time to focus on the wedding dresses that have sparked some excitement.
Hopefully you have found 'The One' by the end of your appointment, at which time we will be doing the slightly more boring but essential bits like measurements and paperwork. We do however appreciate that you may need a little time to process, in which case we will email you all the relevant details about the beautiful British gowns on your shortlist.
Your a Vicki's Bride! Yay!!
We are so excited to welcome you to the Vicki's family. You have signed our wall of fame and headed off to celebrate with your Vicki's Tote Bag for all your Wedmin. We will have emailed you, your 'Welcome to Vicki's Handbook' with all our amazing recommended suppliers, next steps and seamstress information.
Your Dress from our incredible British Designers take up to 4 months to come, so whilst you wait we can help you with the multiway bridesmaids dresses or your bridal accessories. But don't worry if you don't hear from us your dress is in safe hands. Wedding Dress Lead Times: How long will it take for my wedding dress to arrive?
When your dress arrives we will carefully, check her over, steam her and pack her in to a dress bag. We will then be in touch for you to book a 30 minute collection appointment, to try her on and settle any balances. We allow you 2 weeks for collection and after that we charge £5 per week for storage.
Finishing Touches.
We work closely with our wonderful recommended seamstresses from The Wedding Dress Surgeons, Tracy is in the boutique with us most Wednesdays. If you have chosen to work with them at Vicki's we have booked you in for 3 appointments starting 12-weeks before your wedding date.
Once they have worked their magic on your gorgeous gown, she is ready for you to shine in and we will be eagerly awaiting the photos from your special day and grateful for being part of your wedding journey.
