This week we are shining the spotlight on a very talented veil designer and creator, Tulle & Flo owned by the lovely Claire Buckley.
In Bloom by Tulle & Flo
Claire contacted us when we first started setting up the shop on social media and after a few DM’s back and forth we knew that we had to get her on board. With the bespoke nature of Tulle & Flo we just loved the fact that she was here to give all brides something that was a little bit unique, a little bit personal and a little bit them!!
Like us, Claire’s inspiration came from her Nana, who taught her to sew from the age of 5, where they used to work on dance costumes together. Teaching her everything she knows about designing and sewing.
For the past 11 years, Claire has been working as a fellow bridal stylist helping brides find their dream dress and then helps bring a bride's vision to life with the perfect bespoke veil. She is surrounded by love and weddings all day every day and she loves it!! Just ask her?!
She started Tulle & Flo after many years as a bridal stylist, she felt like there was something lacking in the veil department and she just knew she could bring the quality and luxury that every bride deserves.
The name is a mix of the fabric she works with and her childhood nickname (Flossy). And very much like us here at Vicki’s it is a family affair, with her soon-to-be hubby making sure all the gorgeous veils get posted out, as well as helping her cut out the yards of tulle ready for her to work her magic.

Claire lovingly creates each and everyone of her veils by hand in her studio in Yorkshire, ‘no pre beaded or stiff tulles, just modern opulence and genuine time and care is spent on every single veil’ that passes through her studio. All the Tulle & Flo veils that you find in our boutique are proof of that, designed to enhance our collections.
I can honestly say that the excitement you feel when you pick one of our Tulle & Flo veils whether that be the same as our sample or the bespoke version, we all share it! Myself, Megan and Claire! She always gets a little ‘Yay!’ DM. The 3 of us love helping you bring your version to life and nothing is too bold!!
