Do we offer Alterations?

At Vicki’s we like to leave the alterations to the professionals, so we have a list of lovely seamstresses that can work their magic on your dress once you have it collected it from us. This allows you to make sure you are working with the right seamstress for you and your needs. We always recommend getting in touch with your seamstress either once you have ordered your dress or once you have collected, depending on your timescale. Seamstresses do get booked up quickly, especially in the height of seasons, so being on their books 8-10 weeks before your wedding is ideal.

Let’s talk alterations… So it’s more than likely that your dress will need some sort of alteration, even if you have had your closest size ordered. The most common alterations are normally a bust and hem. All our dresses come in an extra long length because you can take it up but you can’t add it on! And obviously busts come in all spaces and sizes so you want to make sure it fits you perfectly.

Here's a little introduction to our recommended Fairy Godmothers!😉 ...
